I would go injected if I could. Better econamy, responce, no flat spots and any angle.
Plus its eayer to replaced a faulty injector vs rebuilding a carb. |

X2 all the way... carbs just don't stack up against Fuel Injection especially in the offer camber positions that are a part of our hobby.
Are injectors without problems? Nope, but they are more reliable for a longer period than a carb.
Other than my upcoming bike purchase... there will be no more carbs in my future if I can help it. _________________

Overall, EFI is the better setup for off-road applications but if your carb runs well right now and there's no complaints, then I don't see a need to replace it until it goes bad. _________________ Of all the things I have lost, it's my mind that I miss the most |

I can tell ya all about EFI.. I built mine.. I love it. Power, drive-ability, economy and tune-ability.. as well as angles and cant forget altitudes.. I doesn't matter where your at never floods or leans out..
For those that are willing to go the inexpensive rout, try a MegaSquirt... Very compatible with a Sammy.. About 450 for an already built ECU. _________________ We can choose are friends, but not our family. |

The only problem with propane, is the mileage.. the is a 10-20% drop in thermal efficiency. Another words it take about 10-20% more fuel to the same work as Gasoline. the advantage is one can have 10-1 pistons and still have a turbo. or run14 -1 compression. it does run cleaner, it is simple, and is very drivable. _________________ We can choose are friends, but not our family. |
