My wife had a mail route and the snow was so deep one day you could not tell the road from the ditch, we slid into about 3' deep snow and the Sammy just did not want to climb back on the road...she walked about a mile to the next house to get a tractor to pull us out...not admitting defeat I shoveled and got to moving a few feet each way until I got a good run and climbed back on the road...I had to back up all the way to where she had just got to that house...the look on her face after she had walked that far in the cold and snow was classic...she did not see the humor tho
